Microwave Journal has published a new technical article by Micro Harmonics CEO Diane Kees examining a waveguide-based approach to generating high-power, low-noise THz signals. The article details an IMRA America demonstration that combined a photomixed optical source, a resonant tunneling diode and the Micro Harmonics HC-34 hybrid circulator to achieve more than 40 dB of gain at 260 GHz.
